Service record anytime soon or ever?

So like are we ever gonna get a service record in infinite? I havent seen or heard a peep about it?

Seems unlikely at this point. I kinda like it. Makes the game feel a bit more like older games where people wouldn’t obsess over stats as much.

Of course you still have the Halotracker fiends that check theirs and everyone else’s profile after every game.

I’m kind of stunned that we don’t have a proper SR yet, its been 3 months and this game is still more or less in beta

If you go to the customization tab of the current SR you can see a PS2 version of your Spartan with missing customization pieces.

Until then there is various services such as https://halo.info that provides various data and medals :slight_smile:

Really sad and pathetic that third party sites and apps are doing what 343 can’t manage to do in game and with their own awful Waypoint app.

I really miss the classic Xbox Waypoint app. That was the best thing ever. CE, 2, 3, Reach, 4, and Spartan Assault, stats, medals, Spartan preview, achievements, milestones, everything. It even let you unlock armors for 3 and Reach, and Xbox avatar clothes, armors, and items, by getting gamerscore or achievements in the any of the games.

343 has disgraced Halo and Waypoint. Their app is a worthless buggy ripoff of the Destiny 1 companion app, but only the shop works, and the shop doesn’t even work or have the right images, just a preview. There is no reason to have it, unless you want to check the daily shop without playing.

What astonishes me and also leaves me dumbfounded is that information is being collected but 343 hasn’t provided a means to view it other than 3rd party websites and they have some sort of rank system based on xp earnt!!, Totally crazy, I mean this is exactly what people are crying out for

I kind of like not having a service record because I don’t care about my KDA and win % as much (don’t get me wrong, I care). Maybe I’m better than I think. Maybe I’m worse.

I would like to see other numbers though - like medals and kills with weapons.
