Multiplayer is blocked becuase the game hasn’t been fully been released yet. The community members playing now were granted access via a whitelisted playlist - it’s basically to show the game works fine and give some sneak peeks of how it’s going to be. All marketing and PR 
The servers will be fine. It would be pretty strange if the beta went fine then the game didnt.
Well from watching some of the multiplayer streams it wouldn’t appear that there are any issues with the matchmaking servers. Now I’m not sure if that’s because there’s only a select few playing compared to thousands flooding the servers, and if that’s maybe the reason for the occasional wait times in between matches, but it looks like it’s running smooth.
I’m gonna give it a shot, especially since the beta went well, the press release versions are working well now, and the game was made from the ground up. I just don’t see there being a MCC issue at launch, prob just the normal release issued that any game has.
However, only the release day will tell, but I have high hopes and faith that it’ll come through without any issues.

The game hasn’t been released yet. Unless you’re press or a notable youtuber with a review copy and access codes, you aren’t evwn supposed to have the game yet.
It’s blocked because the game isn’t officially out yet. You aren’t supposed to be playing it.

What do you mean “not supposed to be playing it?” Where does it say “you may not play Halo 5 before Oct. 27.”?

The beta worked fine for me, no lag etc. (apart from sometimes there were long search times but its understandable during beta).
So basing off that i reckon it will be fine.

Not to mention people don’t realize what 343 had to do to get MCC even online, 4 different game engines, 4 different network codes, 4 different graphic engines. I mean I don’t even want to know about the technical difficulties were to do that.
I mean that was the sole reason Bungie never even attempted it.

You can play Campaign with a retail copy. Just go offline. 
The Beta also worked fine with me, so i don’t think we will have any major issues.
They went with dedicated servers for Halo 5 (rather than hosted servers) so that alone will improve multiplayer. Matchmaking will be a gameday decision since we won’t know how well it really does until people start getting in there en mass.

Anytime you try to get in the game while online for one. And if you got a digital copy it clearly states, in the info, you can only play after the game is released Oct. 27 12am EST time. Everyone else whose getting in, that has not been white listed, are using methods to get around that block.
