What is going on with the servers today? I’m not one to complain about them usually and have never really had an issue before, but so far today, if I can get into an arena game, at least two other people get dropped partway through. It makes for a pretty poor experience. Is there an official word about it or is 343 just ignoring the problem?
Everyone is having issues, for whatever reason. It could be the influx of holiday traffic, or something else going on. You’re not alone though!

I am really happy it’s not just me… Not that I’m happy it’s happening to others… just that it’s not a problem I need to pull my hair out in trying to fix it.
They seemed okay this morning but now I can get into 8 player matches but no big team slayer/warzone. Was looking for this

I just hopped on and can’t even get into a game after 9 tries. I was suspecting holiday traffic influx as well as someone above has already mentioned.
I’m getting the same message here in the Midwest, for the third day in a row here. Have only played 7 multiplayer games in that time frame. Back on the 360 I used to play games non stop and never had a problem, but then with the one it seems like it’s just problem after problem. This needs to be addressed and dealt with immediately.
probably DDOS shenanigans 343 will hopefully figure it out I just find it funny how the baby of Xbox gets kicked so much there is so much lag for dedicated servers I find it unrealistic. I’m comparing this to titanfall and that was flawless, running dedicated servers.

They could keep is in the loop more often though.
Same song and dance here, I’m assuming it’s the influx of holiday traffic. I would say give it a day or so it’s annoying though because this is one of the two days I have off from work.
A hacker group did say they were going to take down live for at least a week. I dunno, but it’s only when I want to get on there’s server issues. We should get pro rated, and given back money from our gold memberships for each day we can’t get on…then the people running the servers will start to care.
It would be nice if 343 could at least have the decency to post a status update and state that they’re working on it, ETA for a fix, etc., but I guess that would be asking for too much.

The game is unplayable for myself and several friends because of the server issues. It’s been happening for several days now. When we do get into a lobby and start a game we are experiencing lag. The games are not competitive at all and lopsided wins and losses are common (mostly losses of course).
I know the issues inherent to online game play but at this level it is plain frustrating and unplayable.
I don’t like being “that guy” but c’mon man. Does anyone believe in quality of service and customer satisfaction anymore?
And of course the banhammer strikes because I’ve quit too many games because I lag more than I play and leave.
