A lot of people are thinking the servers are being shi.tty because a high amount of players online, this is not the case. When i got the gamr at midnight (eastern time) i played for about 4 hours after that, at the height time there was about 160,000 players in matchmaking and servers were fine. It’s not 11am and when i load up the game i can see how many players are online in each game type before it says the servers are unavailable, and its only about 80,000.
Some issues cause by the shi.tty servers:
-Can’t even join a friend’s game and play campaign or custom with them.
-You can play matchmaking but it doesn’t have your loadouts or any character customizations or emblem changes and says you are lvl 1.
-When finishing a game there is no score or victory bonus only the game complete bonus so you only get like 1000 exp.
-I’m only lvl 17 atm but apparently they added the lvl cap too which is pure sh.it.
-They should definately have done more testing with these servers as they cannot handle a medium amount of players (80k) and it’s really disappointing that people took off work (i’m off school for election day) to play this game and they cannot enjoy it at all.
It would be nice for 343 industries to post something saying they are working on the issues or just actually do something about it as it has been this way for over an hour now. Great job 343 Industries! (jk)

I don’t understand why so many order games to be shipped to them and expect them on release day, especially if you paid for extra shipping…
reason being… why not just pre-order it at Gamestop or bestbuy or someplace you can Walk Into and buy it?
I mean… $5 in gas gets you a gallon right? That even takes my Truck 16 miles… it’s about 8 miles to Gamestop… so I spend $5 to get my game at midnight…

You mean a beta that everyone would have just used as a early demo and disregarded any feedback for the sake of playing and on top of all that caused 343 to take time out of the production cycle to set up and maintain a functioning beta for everyone to use as a way of getting their halo fix a little bit early.
the numbers for me i know are wrong anyway do to the server problem. the numbers are frozen for me. they are always the same. i saw a post in matchmaking that the reach numbers are also frozen. this happens with every big game. black ops and mw3 were unplayable for over a week. i bet the same will happen next week with black ops2. just give it a little time the game is great and when i do get into a game i have had no lag and that is a very good sign.
