Im trying to play Matchmaking with my friends but the Halo 4 Servers are not available. If i try to join someones Party it says: “Cant be added to the queue”. This is really bad if this is not getting fixed soon im very dissapointed.
Might be something on your end. I played last night with 3 other buddies over Xbox Live and had no problems at all.
I had this problem around Monday, and it pertained until just last night. You will have to just wait it out.
Had the problem a few times before… but I’ve been able to play with my friends no problem since 2-3 days after launch.
I have been playing all morning and had no issues, the servers are up and fine. It generally has been a persons own network blocking the Port required by Xbox Live, so you need to go into your Network/Router settings and open ports for Xbox Live.
You can also go in and test your Xbox Live connection or hook a Ethernet cable up to your Xbox and fix this most of the time if it is your Ports.
My Ports are Open. Iam sure its not a problem on my end.

Considering no one else is having an issue…that’s a clear sign that something is wrong your end.
As you can see (other comments here) im not the only one.

It’s on your end, i’ve had no problems playing, along with hundreds of thousands of other people. Your thread is literally the first ive seen on this forum about this issue. You need to fix it, not 343.
Ok, Mr. Im still sure its not on my end. Until yesterday everything was fine. And i didnt change anything here.
I was playing earlier this morning, so I don’t know how it could be something on Microsoft’s end.

But there is a issue with the game, many players are unable to play online at all just as OP.

Whoever these people are that are having problems, none of them are posting about it.
omg itsbees has no clue just ignore him. Thanks for the other answers. Ill probably just have to wait for it to get back to normal again.
And just as i said before… ITS WORKING again without me changing anything. so it wasnt on my end. I think alot of ppl have that randomly just some only have it for a short time period.

Just because you didn’t change anything doesn’t mean it’s not on your end.
I’m not saying it was on your end, but there’s no reason to be making these definitive statements. It could be on your end, and out of your control (i.e. a problem with your ISP).
To the people having problems: You do realize that wireless routers, or routers of any kind, can change how they behave practically on a whim right? Ever turn off your system and the next day you can’t connect but you didn’t change anything? Yea, your router can sometimes glitch and settings get screwy (even temporarily), it happens and it’s probably what happened in this case.
If you know anything about IT Support you know that it doesn’t take much to knock your settings off whether your router glitches or your ISP has a temporary issue.
I like how you make statements like iam a person that has no clue about routing and so on… Im 99% sure its a problemon the Microsft/343 Server side. All i wanted to express was my problem and maybe get a constructove reply. Thanks.
Such a bad troll its on your end buddy. I was playing for 7 hours yesterday and only had one hickup and it was lag. So ya restart your router and stop complaining.
