To my horror I have just tried to play some swat on war games only to find a message stating the halo servers are down and playlists are set to default, the same goes for Spartans ops which seems to have gone off all together. Does anyone know what is happening or have the guys working to maintain the servers all gone on a tea break?

I’ve been trying to figure this out too! I got done with a game of big team went back to the main screen and tried to join with a friend only to find that I can no longer access the server.
My friend is currently playing right now. I can still talk to him through xbl but I cannot access the server. He said that from his xbox I’ve reset to a SR-1 too…

I had a friend test his and he had the same issues with both war games and spartan ops, I love this game but honesty i heads up or some actually information on the site wouldn’t go a miss. He also mentioned about the lose in rank but when he checked his waypoint it said his normally rank.
I’m not worried about the rank thing. Waypoint keeps that up. Just odd that my friend could view me at all and even odder that I was SR-1 with basic recruit armor. I tried reseting my xbox and router and clearing my cache but that did nothing to help this out.
It seems to be a problem from the halo side not user, as it’s more then one person having these issues the only thing is everyone is in the dark as 343 haven’t posted any information about it regrading what has happened or why and how long it’s going to be like this. Just -Yoink!- in the wind now.
Just saw on another post that 343 said they are looking into it. And also a claim from a user that it has been fixed. Going to try mine now.

Where is this post ? And I have tired it says the servers are up but I have been in the setting up games screen for 5 minutes now, they maybe up but they running really slow.
