Servers at Launch Night

So who is taking a guess that the online multilayer is gonna have issues the first few nights? I know first thing I’m doing when I get the game is go straight to the online matchmaking. Most people will too. Usually every Halo at launch is crappy online. I hope the servers are ready this time.

Like 90% of ALL games EVER, I am expecting Halo 4’s online to be bad the first 24 hours. That’s why I have campaign to tide me over until then. Once the dust is cleared and I’ve completed campaign, MULTIPLAYER HO!

As someone who always starts with solo Campaign, this never has and never will be a problem for me.

But -Yoink!- luck to you day-one MPers!

If the servers are still down by the time I’m done with my solo legendary? Solo Spartan Ops.
Still down? Forge, then customs, then theater. Still down? Achievement running.

I will be doing campaign with my little bro. But judging my experience with games during launch night cough Diablo III cough the multiplayer servers will be strained big time

BF3 was the worst case-scenario…the damn servers wouldnt work right for nearly a month. MW3 had similar issues, the dedicated servers cut out, but it still didnt seem as bad. But CoD Elite was a piece of crap for the first two months…

Ill be playing so much campaign, it wont matter

Im gonna start goofin of in forge with my friends at midnight cause there all gonna be at the midnight release then when we each go home and get online -Yoink- around in forge/custom games even more 'till servers are a bit better.

BF3 is an EA game. The servers never work :stuck_out_tongue:

Dont even get me started on the beta!

Also ME3 worked well with friends, but with randoms…good god, there’s nothing scarier than a Reaper who was apparently trained by Goku on how to use instant transmission…

I don’t really care, because I’m living in China so I’m playing when you guys are sleeping…or waking up (midnight? I’m at skoolz). That, and I’m playing campaign first to get better at the game, so when I get into MM I don’t die of epic fail and lag.

The last time i played a midnight release halo game on multiplayer I dont think I had any problems with getting a game. But i did have major problems with Homefront and some with BF3. Never had a COD game midnight or first day or first month so wouldnt know.

Im just hoping i can get some play in before bed.

Not to mention Battlelog issues for PC, wasted money cuz of it and ended up buying it on the 360 instead… Damn you EA!!!

Oh god randoms in Platinum Firebase White during pizza deliveries… GG

Or the occasional Missile glitchers…

Well halo 4 does not use private servers so it shouldn’t be too bad I think, right?

> Well halo 4 does not use private servers so it shouldn’t be too bad I think, right?

Unless Microsoft wants to do what EA did and have rent-a-servers…

Don’t care, gonna play campaign first anyway, then join in on multiplayer when things die down. Maybe gonna do some Spartan Ops too, then explore the maps using forge so I can get some orientation on them until I decide to join multiplayer.

I’m not even touching MM until I’m done with the campaign. Just knowing that there will be problems with the servers come launch day is pushing me further to Campaign first.

The only game in Xbox that should have that “rent-a-server” should be Minecraft XBLA. Is the only game I can see that option being any good…
