I cant get into a game without lagging out now since you guys “fixed” the servers for the others im not trying to sound greety and I am glad that they can play but now NA cant play

I can’t find matches at all in certain playlists like BTB, it just keeps searching until it times out saying there aren’t enough players (obviously not true). I have to party up with my american friends to find matches which was absolutely never the case before, there should be plenty of UK and EU players which obviously points to a massive server error. Whatever they did with the search parameters has completely messed up the game for me, I had no issues whatsoever prior to the recent update.
It doesn’t help that 343 ignore everyone, even on their support forum. I think Halo 5 has had good servers for the most part until now, there are a bunch of people with the same problem as me. It has nothing to do with ranks or individual internet connections either. They goofed and there is no way to get in contact with them or get feedback to even know that they’re aware of any server issues.
Matches take seriously long to find now too, in the playlists that I can actually manage to find a game in. It’s strange usually a games servers start out trash and get better but with Halo 5 it’s the complete opposite.

Definitely the servers dude. I wasn’t having any trouble until the last update, now everyone I talk to is getting major problems almost every game whether it’s lag or long search times.
I can rarely find games too, but I’m in the UK. Search times are > 5 minutes for me, sometimes > 10. Only seems to improve when searching in a party with certain people who aren’t having trouble.

I have the same issue. Whole match and cannot use a req. And then nothing after the match.
The worst thing I have experience in a match however is when a player can 1 hit melee bosses and legendary in warzone. I was wondering about this after a couple of incidences in a couple matches. But it was not until I played a match and saw a teammate start out doing this. Followed that player around and for some reason the player could just run up to the bosses and legendary and melee once for the kill. Crazy really.
Something else I really do not like. Doing major damage to a boss or legendary only to have a teammate get the last shot. Then the game gives me no credit. But I pop another one a single time with the magnum and then that boss or legendary gets finished off and I get credit. Just no sense at all to me.
And the req. packs. Why do I almost always get the same thing. Not just a lot but almost always. I purchased, with in-game points I will add, a bunch of gold packs and almost everything is either a ghost-mongoose for vehicle or needler-full rod cannon-saw for weapons. Literally almost all. 2-3 packs in a row with just that, with later packs being the same. Over the last little bit I have opened some and they are really all the same. Even other common-uncommon are not showing up. At one point I think I had 87 ghosts, 85 mongoose, and 1 or 0 of most anything else with 0 being the most common number for almost everything. Sure, some items are rare but, like I said, even common and uncommon are very hard to get outside of the same few things. The fact is, the only other things I have in my inventory basically came from early promotion or bonus packs. And even a lot of those were the same ghost-mongoose and needler-full rod stuff. Just not sure why. And then I get a rare and it is a variation of the full rod cannon or ghost.
I did finally get a plasma pistol and shotgun req. not that I use those. But just odd that I would repeatedly get the same 2-3 common-uncommon in my packs. You would think that a little variety would happen. I am not suggesting that the rare-legendary or whatever reqs. should come up that often and maybe I just would not get them. But at least mix the common up a little more and maybe even the uncommon.

My net is good, can’t say the same for the servers and there are a number of threads in support that invalidate your claim

I don’t think I fully understand what you mean?
I’m in Australia and until this most recent update I never had a single server side disconnect, or disconnect in general with my fiber internet. Now since the latest update, or maybe it’s not due to the update and just weird timing, I’ve had dozens of server side disconnects.
This latest issue seems to be the servers (updates applied to them)
Haven’t been able to switch a custom game game mode since the update.
Rip all fun mini games.
I have noticed a major increase in lag in the past week or so.

Try hard booting your console. Had the same problem and that solved it for me.
Perfect connection before the update. Lag spikes every game after. Sad…
Ya, this last week or so has been terrible. Lag has been rampant, traded kills happen a lot more, and it seems like I get matched with and against people outside my rank a lot more often.
I’m owed about 3 or 4 gold packs from how many points the game didn’t give to me under the guise of “Can’t connect to server” after games.
Not to mention the inability to use load out weapons when I can’t connect to the item server, but can play online. These two always occur at different times.
