Dedicated servers have forced me into only bad lobbies. I can’t change the distance I am to a server. Even if I could select which server to connect to if that server is 1000 miles away I will always be a disadvantage. I live it utah and I got on my brothers netduma router to trace where the closest servers are. The closest to me is over 1000 miles away. So every game I play I will most likely be the furthest away from the server and be at a huge disadvantage. I’ve all but quit halo because the connection absolutely dominates the match. Playing against similar skill doesn’t matter when you are lagging they far behind. I wish they did a hybrid system where we could match up with players close to us so we could still have decent games. 
If you’re experiencing latency or server issues, the most constructive thing you can do is report your information in the dedicated server feedback thread. Read the OP and reply with as much information as you can
