Servers after update are brutal (Known Issue?) Help

I’m starting to think there catering to computers instead of Xbox now

Infinite’s servers are complete trash. I’ve given BTB the ol’ college try for three straight nights. I just feel frustrated the whole time.

This sucks, I just want to be able to relax and play Halo, and not feel like I’m fighting technical issues

By the fact that controller players have the weakest aim assist of any Halo title, and that M&K players now have aim assist… Yeah, they probably care more about PC players.

I’ve noticed more random rubberbanding and an issueswith hit registration in some games. At one point it felt like I was strafing in mud for some reason and when i pulled the flag… it was almost “heavy”…I figure it was a network issue. As usual, it’s not all the time, but just enough to ruin a decent night of play.

My hit reg issue is medium to close combat with commando… for some reason I can beam further out. I thought maybe they nerfed it but it’s most likely a network issue.

It’s not the servers, it’s crossplay. If you play in a lobby where everyone plays on the same platform, the game runs flawlessly, but if you’re on Xbox and throw a bunch of PC players into the mix, you getting to play agains people who deny your bullets, nades, melees, Spanker, Gravity Hammer and so on and so on. Most of you guys seem not to remember anymore but the game ran perfectly fine soon after launch (well maybe except playing at 100ms+ ping due to forced global matchmaking, but at least you could immediately its the ping that ruins the experience), bach when the PC version was in shambles, had terrible stutter and frame pacing issues and hence barely anyone on PC played it, but eventually those issues have been sorted out somewheres around summer last year, then the PC players flooded the game, and due to forced crossplay the game became unplayable ever since, 40ms, 30ms, 20ms, the ping doesn’t matter in this game at all, if you’re on PC you’re basically Neo who dodges bullets like it’s Tuesday. So long story short, as long as there’s no option to turn crossing off, if you’re on Xbox, the game will remain to be unplayable trash.

Terrible rubberbanding since the update

I would go even further and speculate that this is a general Xbox/Microsoft/Azure problem.

In the last few weeks/months we had a few problems with party services, join via friend list, friend list in general and interrupted connections in several games. There also have been several outages of Xbox services.

Infinite is still hilariously terrible though

I was wondering if it was just me. I’ve never seen my melees just not count so frequently.
