Does the tick rate seem horrible to anyone else? I have gotten killed after turning a corner and have had grenades/guns not go off right before dying even though I pulled the trigger well soon enough for it to fire. I’ve even had the sound effect play but no bullets actually shoot. This is making it really annoying to place certain modes like Oddball where I keep losing the ball even though I’m well behind cover.
I’ve been chalking it up to latency issues, be it server-side or client-side, but now that you mention it, I think the tick rate is the culprit. Biggest issue seem to be my bullets not registering as hits when I know they should.
Yeah it’s bad. I’m running gigabit fiber optic and have like 15-20 ping every single game and it still happens constantly. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Dang bro. I’m running 30 mb DSL, so I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum lol.

Are you getting ping spikes by any chance?
I’ve been playing with at least 120 mb/s and I get unstable packet loss and my ping spikes from 20 to 30 for some reason.
I had that once but restarted my game and it fixed it. Otherwise, no not really.

When I had the issue it never seemed to actually effect my gameplay. I didn’t even notice anything was wrong until I saw the thing saying it.
My game has been doing it since it launched, I can’t tell if it’s my internet having a stroke or it’s 343i having issues.
I am playing on Last Gen but others I am playing with are having no issues on the Xbox One.
So idk.
If it helps, I’ve had only one problem out of 30 games. And my wifi sucks. Like my WiFi would be faster if I had actual carrier pigeons delivering the packets. Idk, maybe I do and, that’s why I have no packet lost.
