I’ve been searching for literally 3 hours, everytime I would load into a match I would get “Your connection to the game session was interrupted” That’s it.
I’ve been having the same exact issue. Odd that I can’t seem to find anyone else reporting it. I was able to play with my friends just fine earlier today, and they’re still able to join matches without any issue. Happens in both multiplayer and firefight. Have tried having server relays both on and off. NAT is open. No changes in my network or OS environment since earlier today when it still worked.
I’ll join a lobby, it’ll fill, it’ll begin to load, it will say “Connecting - East US” or something of the sort, the progress bar will start to move painfully slowly, then eventually I’ll end up back on the menu with the message “CONNECTION INTERRUPTED - Your connection to the game session was interrupted.”
I was able to join a single match of snipers without getting the boot, but that’s it, out of countless attempts for hours now.
open all of the Xbox Live ports for giggles

I’ll see about trying that tomorrow, assuming the issue still exists. Unfortunately I have to call my ISP to open ports (don’t ask why), and it’s past midnight, so that’s not an option right now.
who is your provider? if its comcast and you dont have your own router their is a way to configure it yourself but I dont remember the url off the top of my head
It’s Armstrong, a local ISP. They provide the router, and trying to access the router’s web interface using its IP spits back a connection refused error.

I’m having the exact same issue.
I was able to load into a single SWAT lobby and then began encountering this issue and have not been able to load into a single lobby since.
Every time, without fail, as the OP mentioned, loading bar will start moving painfully slowly, and then eventually I’ll get the "“Your connection to the game session was interrupted.”.
I don’t think it’s a port issue; my NAT type is listed as open, and in addition to that, I tested with my router DMZ’d (all ports open) and still ran into the issue.
Something else is going on here, and it’s annoying me that I can’t figure it out.
As it happens, I didn’t have the issue today. Was able to join matches just fine. Leads me to believe it has nothing to do with my ISP/router.
I’ve been having the same issue since launch, it’s made the game unplayable for me

My friend is having this issue right now. Can’t join any lobbies, and can’t connect to us whatsoever. According to the Xbox Networking settings on Windows, it says “Teredo is unable to qualify” for all of us which would suggest something might be up with Xbox Live. Not sure though - we’re currently trying to find a solution.

Just got this issue today, can’t play online for now
