Server selection

Why can we not choose which servers we want to connect to? I mean it’s like two steps forward and three steps back.

In this day and age this is a complete no brainer, players should be allowed to choose which servers they want to play on, come on 343i if other F2P games can give the players the choice of where they want to connect to then surely Halo should have the same option.

I agree, as someone living in south america, I can’t stand that I have to constantly be sent to North America and play with 120+ ping.

And before anyone says “Well there just isn’t enough population in SA” WELL- maybe there would be if you didn’t keep sending everyone into NA, the same problem is in MCC, let us lock ourselves in South American servers, both us and the NA players with thank you.

I’m to the point now that when I click Quick Play, it doesn’t even try to look for south american players first, it INSTANTLY finds me a game in NA.

Worst part is, I feel like I’m shouting into a void cause south america doesn’t make companies as much money so why bother listening to us?

In the same boat but in Japan, I have played MCC throughout the year and get my own countries server like 5/10,000 games, I understand the game is not popular but like we were really abandoned, in a market that otherwise would love and accept Halo as its fathered the Xbox brand and FPS games that followed, like Apex Legends (which is huge in Japan)

Yeah, I feel you, the popular game here is League of Legends, and surprise surprise, my NA account can’t play here, so I have to make another account or buy an account transfer (I’m from NA and moved to South America)

It seems companies in general are just really behind the times when it comes to worldwide gaming needs, there’s always something they forget or a financial reason they chose not to do anything about it.
