Server Lag?

Whenever I play Halo (5) late at night, at about 5 PM, I tend to get the worst lag. I’ll never be kicked, but everyone will keep teleporting and/or rubber banding everywhere. It makes the multiplayer virtually unplayable at times. I’ve checked my internet settings, and my speed, and neither should be giving me problems. I check my other games like World of Tanks, and I have great speed. Does anyone know what could be happening?

I hardly ever experience lag in Halo 5 Guardians. It could be your ISP in your region where you are getting throttled due to the rest of the people in your area are getting on the Internet.

And I am certain you will come back and say but it doesn’t happen in any other game…

It happens more than i wish it did but never to that point where people are teleporting. Usually its like shots not registering or my reticle feels heavy. I wish they showed ping on the top right hand side of your screen or a connection bar to the server so you can see your connection to that server.

I actually said that it doesn’t happen in other games. Read it before you post.

That happens to me as well, always seem to be in the late afternoon or evening, haven’t gotten on earlier in the day to test if it does it then as well. I’ve had people rubberbanding, teleporting everywhere ( including me). Shots not registering. reticle feeling heavy. being shot from nowhere or through walls.

This happens to me as well about a week ago. I have never had issues since the game came out and all of a sudden it sucks. I have had the same internet provider. Opened a ticket with them and they fixed my bandwidth issue, but the lag remains in halo. I can tell when my shield recharges it isn’t a smooth movement; it ticks back up. Soooo annoying!
