Am i the only one having this problem? I get done with a game, the server glitches me out and now i am banned? Wouldnt be so bad if only happened every now and then, but f’ing thing happens almost every day i play. I mean, its not like i wanted to play your game or anything and that’s why i spent 60 -Yoinking!- dollars to purchase it.
Seriously, this needs to be fixed. Am an avid halo fan but this is seriously going to make me not want to buy the next one in the series if it cant get taken care of soon.
Halo 5 runs on dedicated servers, which are much less prone to have their own problems that will throw out a player. If you lag out of a game, or lag at all, it’s very likely it’s your connection.

I would normally agree, except it happens EVERYTIME i play a game after i had to leave a game. That seems like a game glitch more than anything else

oh…i have no problem with it if i was actually quitting, but i only will quit one game, play another and at the end of that second game, i mean as it’s going to the score screen, it will tell me the was a server boot or something along those lines and thats when I get my ban hammer because of that.

You are being banned for quitting, it takes the system a short time (usually a match) to catch up. Stop quitting you won’t get banned, Ban related stuff is supposed to go the ban thread.
you answered your question yourself. i honestly want to know why ppl are so confused they get banned after they finish a game that happens within quitting the game before hand. its like they forget just 10-15 mins ago they quit the game before it, and dont put two and two together

except the second time i am not actually quitting. the server it booting me out and then claiming that as me leaving.

ok but the point is you quit, the game before, multiple times as one of your previous post stated, why are you shocked you get banned? you know you are quitting so you should not be surprised when you get a ban whether its 20 mins later or an hour later. so yes the claim of you quitting is accurate, dont say its a claim as if the server is wrong

this right here should have been more then enough for you to realize you get banned for leaving a game not finishing one

essentially i am being banned for quitting once. the second time i am getting removed by the server. And this thread is mearly me checking to see if others are having a similar issue before taking it to the ban thread!
you are removed because you finished your game, the system has no reason to keep you in the server since it is now serving you a ban. there is a reason those games that you are leaving in the post credit scene still show up as being completed, they dont show as a DNF.
and yes you will be banned for leaving once since you said every time you leave a game, you get banned a game later, that right there says you leave a lot. now the system has your GT marked as a quitter, and everytime you quit even once you will get a ban. simple, stop quitting and youll stop getting banned.
also if you went to the ban thread you would have seen my self and others answers this question about a thousand times, because ppl seem to forget they quit and only look at the game they were just in. you would have saved your self a lot of trouble if you went there first and read even two pages worth of post. there is a reason all ban related topics need to go there.

No you are being banned for quitting. As I said, it takes the system a short time (Usually the duration of a match) to implement your ban. Stop quitting.

When you get banned for quitting, it takes a game or two for the system to actually implement the ban. So lets say you quit, and then go into another game. As soon as that game finishes (i.e. when the “Game Over” screen comes up) the banhammer activates. It implements the ban before you go to the Post-game carnage report screen. It’s not a server glitch. If it were a server glitch, everyone in that game you played would be disconnected.
As for “getting banned for 1 quit”, if you have a history of quitting, or if the ban system has a profile on you built up from infractions like idling, betraying, suicides, and quitting, then the banhammer will be much more sensitive to your next infraction.
