Now, regardless of the MM system being P2P or Dedicated, regardless of whether we can join a game midway, I think a server browser could be useful in Halo 4.
BF3 had it, and we were able to join all the servers that we wanted.
I think that Halo could do it, too, this would speed up matchmaking significantly as we are able to see all the servers and join them.
This would open the way for custom game browsing, as people could join rented servers or private servers, where the host decides the settings.
A custom game browser would be sweet. You wouldn’t have to worry about getting 16 people together to try out your new btb map, you’d be able to start a loby and set it to xbox live and have it set to invite only, friends only, or all to let anyone looking through the browser find your game. In the browser you should be able to select things like player count and game type.
Out of everything 343i, this is the only issue you need to absolutely deal with.
The rest of the people crying about sprint, bloom, etc. Are just a waste of internet space.
Because you fix this problem, you fix their problem.
