Maybe it’s just bad luck but why is it that whenever I disconnect from a game it’s not a game where I’m getting destroyed but where I actually have something to lose? I chocked it up to coincidence but it’s getting ridiculous. My last time.disconnecting was almost a week ago when I had a legendary WZ RP boost on. And now today I have an ultra rare on and we’re 3/4 through a match where I used a ton of reqs to get 19 plasma caster kills to close that out and got half the kills I needed to close out the plasma rifle. And got a further 10 kills to progress my Gauss hog kills. I get that it’s a DNF but I’m seriously losing all that progress too? Fine don’t give me RP or XP don’t even include my ultra rare RP boost but don’t add insult to injury and mess up my commendations progress too…
They are-indeed serious about their poo servers. Sorry to hear about your lost progress, I don’t know what their deal is but its rampant; and a real problem.
Every now and then I’ll disconnect randomly, but it’s actually because my internet cuts out but for the last few months without fail if I use a req that’s ultra rare or better on WZ I’ll disconnect and there are no issues with my internet. That’s actually the reason why I have a bunch of legendary boosts between WZ and arena that I never use because there’s a 75% chance they’ll be wasted.

Some games 0 kills.Head shots forget it! I’m a fairly new player and suck, but this is ridiculous! Losing games all week. It’s not my internet… I pull reports from my router and 0 lost packets no lost connections etc.

That’s exactly the problem… they know it’s their server (error message) but you still take in the shorts for it. Then everyone else is screaming that you quit and ruined their game!
Maybe, the ghosts of reach don’t want us to finish our damn commendations.

Agreed. It’s more questionable if someone’s using tons of reqs and are just getting -Yoink- on and then they “disconnect” but for realzies, the game in question I had a kda of 26…

After a game I look at the game history because I get jip’ed into so many games. You see people with scores like you mentioned above and you know damn good and well they didn’t quit. I doesn’t take too big of brain to figure out what happened!
It’s all a bunch of shenanigans. I know they can’t put in a system that’s 100% fair to everyone because then they would need to analyze every player in every game and that’s just not realistic. I just want a system where the progress I make towards commendations still count. Ya it sucks when I don’t get the RPs that I deserve but when I dump a bunch of reqs (and a fair amount of luck) into a game so I can finally close out commendations I’ve been working on for so long only to get the finger right at the end is bs to say the least.
I feel your pain. Happend last night to me on WZT after using a WZ reg point boost. Plus I wasted a banshee.
I wish that was all I wasted. I admittedly suck with the plasma caster which is why I’m so salty but to make up for my lack of skill with them I not only used white scars, and scourge fire (many of them) I also was using active camo and the occasional damage boost to increase my likelihood for a kill, so many wasted reqs…
Well I’ll be -Yoink!-, maybe they do have a system in place. Stopped playing for a few hours, played a game of arena and came back an hour later with a plasma caster pack for completing the commendation. Made my day a lot better. Thank you 343!
this has happened to me a few times in the lat few days… just now, in fact… warzone game at 930 points and the game blanked out, and the error report was “Left Fireteam. Your Fireteam has changed. Returning you to the main menu.”
what the heck is that… now i get no REQ or no XP for the 20min game

My recommendations… H5 seems finicky so always always hard reset your Xbox before playing H5, this is a habit I already have from playing MCC. This way there is no programs that maybe running in the background or any thing. Also DO NOT USE WIFI… use a wired connection. Xbox one or be it just H5 stinks on WiFi. I noticed when I took my Xbox on vacation with me and had to use a WiFi I disconnected from time to time. But at home I use a wired connection and very very rarely do I disconnect.
That’s the thing, right now I’m away from home for a few months for work and I haven’t had tons of problems using the WiFi, with the exception of today, after the first incident there have been connection problems all day. But back home I use a wired connection and likewise (yet again probably just really unlucky) I rarely ever disconnected unless I had a legendary boost on so I don’t use them…
