This has got to be the most stupid thing you could have ever added 343, like seriously i could understand it kind of in reach but in Halo 4 ?, what other FPS has an XP cap ? NONE OF THEM ! get rid of it i’m sick of not being able to earn XP !

I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s dead to me but it’s something that needs to be taken care of. We don’t need an XP cap. It’s pointless.

I haven’t played too much yet, but what’s the daily limit? Do challenges count as part of that? Like if someone gets a monthly, some weeklies, and dailies all in one day, is that going to basically cap you out?
I get it to a point, just that they don’t want people to go up too quickly, most likely just at the start since not everyone can play as much, but if you earn the XP then why not be able to get it?
Either that, or if they want to cap XP for a day, then maybe it bleeds into the next day? You could have a running total so you do get it eventually, just might not be that day if you’ve hit the limit. I ono, all possibilities.
Seeing how I’ve played MP for 8 hours straight and haven’t hit the cap, then its obvious you guys are playing WAY too much.
I got to Rank 15 in that 8 hours and didn’t see a cap. There is no need to rush through the MP, I mean the game has only been out for 2 days.
The EXP cap is an issue, say what you will. Out of all of my time playing Halo Reach, from a 16 hour marathon to a simple few hours a day I NEVER hit the Credit Limit.
However, my first all nighter with Halo 4 and I hit the EXP Cap and lose 10 DewXP games as a result. The cap is way to low.
nah its dumb they should have a ‘prestige like’ system or something to incentivize you…like im going to reach max level before a month is up. So monthly challenges? Useless after the first month. Granted this isnt the case for everyone, but it is for quite a lot…and once those others reach cap…challenges are all useless.
