Population Counter is also not present in the mcc.

Matchmaking is still instant for me, that’s good enough to cull my concerns about population.
Consider it is still in the top 10 most played games on xbox I don’t think they need one

Well yeah it helps a lot of us when selecting a playlist, why would i waste time going in a playlist with say 1000 players in it when my matchmaking experience would be a lot better in a playlist that had 5k in it in terms of connection, skill matching etc. But as always 343 just goes their own way by removing all the important stuff.

People just grope for reasons to hate something that they dislike so blindly. Calling them hipsters is pretty much accurate.
80% of the people that nag about Halo not being good simply just joined the bandwagon, not being creative enough to form their own opinions.
I Can’t believe not having a population counter is a problem to you. Can you still find a game? Can you still shoot the other players? Can you still unlock items in the Req system? The point is, having a pop. counter or not having one affects absolutely nothing. Just play the game and stop complaining about non sense. There’s a lot more stuff to complain about that actually affects the game.
Population counter = irrelevant to gameplay.
Would much prefer a latency meter to indicate whether “teleporting” players are due to my connection or theirs.

It really is getting beyond irritating how they keep going their own way. They need to realize their ideas are all terrible.
Nobody likes what they think is cool. They need to stop and go back to what Bungie created… because they had good ideas.
