Seriously!? What's wrong with being good!?

Honestly, what the -Yoink- is wrong with people!?

Just a moment ago, some guy reported me for tampering and proceeded to call me “trash”.
About a week ago, a friend and I were in Custom Games and we were both kicked for doing well!
A couple months back, I was playing Customs and was kicked for the same reason as stated above!
Don’t even get me started on all the other times I’ve been reported or given a bad rep because I did decently!

So tell me, what the Hell is wrong with being good!?

Ahh don’t worry they’re just a bunch of sore losers.

Tis the nature of the beast. I get A LOT of flak in games for said reasons…don’t pay attention to it.

I get that.
But why would one feel the need to report someone for something they know isn’t true?
I mean, come one! I’ve been a “sore loser” before! At least I admit it! I don’t accuse someone of doing something they didn’t do! I may become angered beyond belief, but I don’t report for tampering or otherwise unless I have proof. At most, I’ll avoid the player, that’s it!
I just… really would like to know what’s running through their mind at that point in time.
I don’t get it, have they not grasped the idea that there’s the possibility that someone, somewhere, on this planet with population of 7 billion people, that there might be one person, just one, who’s better than them!?

Well, usually, I don’t pay attention to it.
But when I do, I laugh.

However, it’s gotten to the point where it’s really begun to piss me off.

There are “sore losers” and then there are “abysmal winners”, hopefully we all fall between the two. Either way, it is always wrong and unjust for a person to report an innocent.

I’ve gotten voice messages before. I just think they’re clan spam or something, but since I’m lonely and feel obligated to listen to the post that somebody went out of their way to send me, I proceed.

I got saying ‘You little -Yoink-, stop using -Yoinking!- camo to kill us, you’re such a -Yoinking!- noob.’
That honestly can bring down your day. I used, camo, yes, I know that can be infuriating. But I use because it’s helpful. And he was just a sore loser, sure, but it can just ruin the rest of your day. I know what you mean.

Also, when I began to play CoD multiplayer (don’t ask me what was going through my mind), I checked my rep after a few games. I wasn’t wearing a mic, but my rep was blasted downhill, and the cause of it wasn’t on one of the listed reasons. (Ya know, they put me as ‘too bad’ and ‘doesn’t understand game’.) It’s just a game you tryhards, stop being jerks and have fun. Oh, and did I mention our team won every game? So it wasn’t even like I was the cause of defeat.

People can get really absorbed in game. I know I can sometimes.
“HOW DIDN’T THAT KILL YOU?! YOU NERD!!! YOU HACKER!!! YFVJVJCVJYUDFJUDHF!!!”
It doesn’t helped to get steamed. Some people just get so carried away with winning, when somebody better than them is, well, better, they tend to lose it because the game just isn’t fun anymore from them (mostly because they aren’t winning). :\

That’s why I don’t play Call of Duty.
That’s also 95% of the reason why I hate Call of Duty.

I understand wanting to win, but I don’t understand the need to insult someone 'cause you (not you, of course) lost.
If your teammate did bad, give 'em some tips to do better.
If your opponent did well, say good job and maybe ask for some tips (or say nothing and just move on).

Unfortunately, not everyone understands this.

The amount of you suck messages I get are disturbing.
The best thing to do is to black them and move on.
That, or make fun of them in some way. It actually works pretty well.

I think I responded to one hate mail as “Nice playing with you too, pal.”

But like I said, so many people can get too absorbed in the game and that’s what causes raging and bringing out the hate on others, going so far as too report them. They begin to treat the game as some life-or-death competition, and when they start to be beat, they flip out. It’s just the way some people act, and there’s not much you can do.

Get use to it. BKs run rampart in halo.

You cant get away from stupid people lol.

I usually get 15-25 K/D spread in Swat and get angry hate messages after every game. It’s normal. They’re all just sore losers.

That stinks lol. I wish I had more problems like that. #GoodPeopleProblems

Some people do use annoying tactics but in all honesty its in the game and they made everything to be used
