> How about 343 give us Halo 1 with its Original Multiplayer but make it Xbox live capable, then Give us Halo 2 with its multiplayer back and all Halo players just play their respected preferred games.
That’s what i’m saying, in HALO 2 Anniversary, give them the h2 mm back, with those maps. But Halo 1 didn’t have online mm, as it was a launch title, and live didn’t start till a year later.
I will retract the statement that you don’t know what your talking about but you are massively going over the top about the game! There are problems, they are not game breaking, the game is brilliant and will get better!
It’s an alright game, they changed too much, and sold an unfinished game with not even an apology.
Their fixes broke again, many broken aspects to forge and general MP. Too much host advantage with projectile weapons, LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG, imbalanced AA’s and loadouts.

First one to spot the real problem, imo. Lag is everything.
Getting real servers and also adding the “good connection”, or at least separate the world in different leagues/realms/continents/whatever to get rid of the “host is from the other side of the world”-problem is KEY to this game (and future Halo).
holy -Yoink- why do people still say this is their very first game?
they didnt pick people straight out of school to come work on their flagship franchise
how stupid can you be
343 is made up if industry vets
and a ton of them are from EA…
The inclusion of the overpowered Binary Rifle. It should never have left Spartan Ops/Campaign.
The fact that Ragnarok is not CTF only. In regular Slayer, as much as I love the map, people get spawn killed all the time if the enemy team controls the central hill. It is also especially annoying when people camp with sniper weapons.
Joining sessions in progress by obligation. Very seldom do you save a losing team from defeat. 70% of the time, however, you lose with them. There’s no point of being forced to lose.
Solace is a perfect map for CTF and Slayer only. I hate having to get spawn killed every few seconds in SWAT or having to be bombarded every time I enter a hill in that map.
LMFAO, so it shatters Halo 3, but not Halo 2 when Halo 2 and 3 are almost identical. They are by far the most similar Halo games in the entire series.
Halo 4 is a sequel to Halo Reach and the absolute only aspect that is better than Halo 3 is the netcode, otherwise Halo 3 destroys Halo 4 in every other regard.
> Halo 4 looks lovely on the outside. It really does. It has a ridiculous level of polish on it. That’s very nice. But what is underneath is troubling. The first week I had this game I was thrilled. But then I actually started delving deep into all the features and seeing the intricacies of the game, and the amount of broken features, missing features, bad added features, and general bugs/glitches really upset me. I am a longtime Halo fan who has never owned a Halo console game. I got into the game through Halo: CE for Mac, and I’ve played Halo 2, 3, and Reach at friends’ houses quite a bit, so I decided to purchase my first Xbox ever: the Halo 4 Limited Edition console.

> It has a wonderful cover. You just can’t judge a book by its cover.
Although I adore all the Halo’s, ALL of the games had glitches and bugs.
Alas, even I believe that Halo 4, while being an amazing game, still has some flaws and I sincerely hope that this will be cleared up in halo 5.
Besides, what is Halo without the odd glitch or two?
Just so you know, 343i has developers who were working for some of the greatest gaming studios these days; Valve, Rockstar, Ubisoft, ID, Bioware, EA and the list goes on. We’re talking about studios that created games like:
Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Grand Theft Auto, Assasins Creed, Brothers in Arms, Far Cry, Heroes, Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy shooters, Half Life, Portal, Left4Dead, Midnight Club, Max Payne, Red Dead Redemption, Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake (Best fps ever), Mass Effect and this list can go on for pages and pages if I’d list the EA ones.
343i’s first game; yes. But it is a freaking powerhouse studio with people from every corner of the gaming industry coming together to create the best from all perspectives.

That’s very childish itself. Working on Halo is not my professional job. I do not get paid to go to work every day to maintain the series.
Halo is 343’s sole responsibility. Saying that you can’t criticize 343 because you can’t do their work yourself is pathetic. If I have a bad professor at University, am I unable to express my concerns with their teaching habits just because I’m not a teacher myself?

If you don’t work on halo and are not a professional then how can you criticize them for not doing something? Clearly they are having technical difficulties so unless you are a mastermind and can make all the bad things go away i suggest you be pathetic and let the professionals do their work.
Mocking them and having that kind of attitude isn’t going to help nor will it make them want to do anything if the community is going to act like that.

I can criticize them because they were not able to provide feature parity with Halo 3, a five year old game. Bungie delivered game modes and services like file sharing and, to my knowledge, had them working on day one each time. It’s a critical observation.
I’m not saying that 343 is incapable of doing it at all, nor am I saying that they won’t make efforts to fix bugs post-release. However, your assertion that “if you can’t do better, you can’t say anything” is absolutely ridiculous, but it’s easy for someone to look ridiculous when they slurp and avoid logic and reason at all costs.

The only thing I find “wrong” about Halo 4 are those invisible walls. Seriously, why would they do that? Halo has always been a game of exploration for me since CE, and adding these infernal things into the game ruined the experience. All that wide space is just for show now.
I know there have been “invisiwalls” in the older games but those weren’t as limiting as the ones in Halo 4.
There are a handful of small problems I have with the game, but I agree with OP, for having no beta it plays well, I’m sure the first big patch will fix alot, most people that almost hate the new gameplay features are CE purists who just hate anything but OG Halo gameplay
> 343I honestly isn’t doing a bad job for their first game ever, people are just ungrateful and expected which is the issue.
