Serious Question: How is "Sell All" not a thing?

I’m just in awe. I’ve seen forum posts from up to a year ago requesting this seemingly obvious feature. I can’t even wrap my mind around the absence of this feature in the first place. Why would anyone want to individually sell innumerable amounts of requisition cards just to get more REQ cards, most of which they will then have to sell again anyway? It’s not fun; it’s the opposite of fun and it’s incredibly inconvenient.

Or even sell in muilt of 5… bravo said something like that day one

The Chrome extension is the only way which is lame and should be in game by now but at least there is a way to do it. well it’s not a sell all but the only way to sell multiple req cards at once.

Shame I don’t use Chrome. Just FireFox and Opera.

I’ve got hundreds of useless Boosts and mongeese and such that could really benefit from selling in bulk…

343 are either lazy or just ignorant. No other dev would leave a day1 report hanging for an entire year.

Lazy lol. You can sit down and sell all the reqs you don’t need. Yes it will take time the first time you do it, but when you get new packs sell what you don’t need right there its super easy. I think gamer’s who whine about the sell all are a little lazy. 343i has more important things to work on then a sell all button lol.

I cant get my head around how poorly the req system was implemented from the start but this has to be the biggest wtf I have with it.

  • Why is it all RNG? - Why cant you buy items and weapons individually with req points or cash? - Why do we only have three main packs and not other options like appearance, weapons, vehicles etc.? - Why cant you turn off reqs you no longer want in the hopes of increasing the odds of getting something you do want? - Why cant you ear mark reqs you like, that fit your play style, so you actually get something useful so you dont need to sell them? - Why are loadout weapons not set to unlock at ranks, absolutely horrible that I was level 80 before I got a second DMR, or how unfair it is that I got my H2 BR at level 82 and my friend that is way higher rank than me still doesn’t have it?Why? why? why?, I could go on and on. Not being able to sell in bulk is so frustrating and is a perfect example of why I think Halo 5 was a fail. Like many things, great idea, poor execution with a lack of action based on widespread feedback.

Maybe if they actually did it right I would spend money on reqs!

#2 / #4 would be absolute hell if they implemented it that way. Think of all the people that would spam-buy Nornfangs and Hannibals. It’s bad enough when they’re obtained randomly, but if you could pick and choose the ones you wanted? Please no…

#2, Would make more sense for armor and maybe lower tier weapons. You could also add a cool down timer for higher req stuff. The Reach system was hands down better than RNG. They missed out not giving more options to spend real cash. Most packs i get are crap, why would I spend real money on crap. If I had control over what I was getting I might spend a buck here and there.
#4, Not saying that you would always get them, it would just increase your chances of getting them. For example if you have a 1 in 50 chance of a legendary weapon, wouldn’t you want that chance to have say a 1 in 5 chance of giving you a weapon that fits your play style?

The point I was making was with just a few additions the req system would have been way better. Also if its something that has been mentioned as many times as a sell X or sell all option it should be in the game a year later, or at least a statement explaining it cant be done.

I really don’t understand why it was implemented in the first place. A real rookie mistake made by a major gaming company.

The alternative was charging money for each update, and we saw how that worked out for us in Halo 4.

Funny, the chrome extension was made by someone that does not work for 343.
Having separate packs, re Vehicle, Weapon, Armour, and boost packs would be good for me. Not for -Yoink!-. With the Random number generator “RNG”, giving you whatever, opens the possibility of purchasing them with real cash.
In the end, it’s all about the mighty dollar.

I’m with you here. I used the Chrome extension to mass sell a first time because initially I was saving all my REQs until I realize I never use that common shotgun, but now I sell everything as I open packs.

The amount of hours i have spent selling reqs to open more silver packs…

Im going to have to disagree with you here. This is not some 1 day old issue, this has been here since the start of the game. I am only somewhat disturbed because Bravo said he would tell the devs, and nothing has happened yet.

I think because they think we would use them all everyday.

It’s worth downloading chrome just for that tool.

This and this site are the only reason I downloaded Chrome.

The community made a custom sell all thing somewhere for Halo 5 a while ago

I have spent many an hour selling singular req’s over and over! I do agree there should be a sell ‘x’ amount option but now I just do my best to keep on top of the req’s I don’t want/need.
