You just said you’d never give them money with their current monetization strategy, then said you’d only give them money if they went with a less profitable monetization strategy.

Sure I can see that and agree. So far a lot is missing. A lot a lot.
At least I didn’t pay $60 for it. Let me ask you this. If this game was a $60 game, wouldn’t it still be in the same state it’s in?
Maybe they would’ve had more money at launch but look at halo 5, by the community’s judgement, one of the worst halos ever, EVER! And it costed $60!
I think if they don’t want to repeat they’re mistake with halo 5 they first have to not charge people for it. If it’s going to be a bad game with a slow release of content don’t charge me for it! Because it’ll be years later when they it actually feel more like a more rounded halo experience.

I play for 20 and I’m thinking more with my BRAIN then let emotions do the talking that ends up in situations thst I’d really not get into
I’m sure what they said before was true but some higher up had to come in abd mess it up abd dev probably said this was a bad idea but had to do it as higher ups sign their paychecks

This is about principal. If they want to keep Halo fans. They have to make some action and lowering prices in the store won’t cut it

And I think they are afraid of change for good reason. We all know what is the nature of F2P games. And many people couldn’t help but roll their eyes when 343 announced Infinite was going the same route.
Again, they could have pulled the F2P differently. I would have been fine with the store if it had new armors we’ve never seen before. But having legacy stuff in there that we used to unlock easily in previous games, that sure is a slap in the face for many Halo players.
Besides all that, Infinite still lacks a lot compared to previous games. Not that I personally care, I just want the campaign. But I know many people do.

On the launch of Halo 5 Phil Spencer said they were working on the next Halo game. For years we were told about the reclaimer saga.
It never happened. A bold faced lie. It doesn’t matter who did what. They lied. End of story.
And that’s not the only lie they made

Yeah but unlike say 5 it did have the mode it lacked for a year btb and folks after a while grew bored of warzone
Here yes the small number of modes are a problem it’s not that big considering they added swat back and made fiesta permanent in a play list abd gave us more playlist options in a week or so of the actual launch where as 5 took longer to get that going
