I’m okay with Free to play games. At least, give us an option to purchase the multiplayer. It’s really sad that the campaign provides little content for the multiplayer. I got skins for weapons and vehicles, and armor coating. I was hoping for unlockable helmets, but was very disappointed not to see any.
They should have just allowed two ways to enjoy the multiplayer. Let people play the game for free and have limited options. Let people buy the multiplayer, and have all the options. That way, people can see what they miss if they don’t buy the game. It’s like what Killer Instinct did. You could only play with one or two players, but buying the game gives you a season access. Halo can do way better than Killer Instinct though.

How much do you think Epic Games cares about the people pre Battle Royale for Fortnite? They don’t. Infinite is probably more successful in 1 month than 4/5 were in a year. Zero chance they would revert it.
That being said I do see the possibility of them releasing alternate games (what CoD does btw) is possible, but that’s years down the line, and it wouldn’t impact Infinite I don’t think.

Yes because free to play and PC. Ofcourse it did well.
Epic and Fortnite is a whole another debate. You could argue that it being battle royale is far more appealing to the masses than a few multiplayer that only has a few modes
I try. I understand the business perspective behind the f2p, but it’s still frustrating and sometimes, anti-consumer. I just hope this improves from this point and on. Especially, the challenges.
You are missing my point. It has already proven to be massively successful, and because of that I think your suggestion is a complete waste of time. Lets ignore Fortnite for one second, Do you seriously believe that CoD Warzone will stop being Free-to-Play anytime soon? If so, when? Why?

Thank you. And exactly. Everyone knows that going free to play made them money. No one is saying the game isn’t doing good because of multiplayer. BUT there is frustrating parts about it which should be addressed like the store but the store will never change if it stays free to play. Quite the rock and a hard place

Massively successful because it was a battle royale.
Battle royale at the time was hot for ALL players. Even me.
If anything battle royale is still popular.

Again, you are ignoring my argument. Your argument is that Halo should have Battle Royale, my argument is that Halo Infinite not being Free-to-Play would be stupid, business and community wise.
We can keep going down the line of all Free to Play games if you want to my guy, but instead I’d rather you just address my point to move this conversation forward.

I never said it should have one. I said fortnite was successful because of battle royale. Pubg was a hard game and Fortnite was easier. A lot of people jumped on that train. I remember it clear as day.
How would it be stupid if litterally every other Halo game launched that way?
