Serious Pegasus Tips

Yo I need some crazy help with the Pegasus map. It doesn’t matter what gametype it is. I always play hot garbage in this map and it makes me feel bad because I bring a team down. I think the only one i did moderately ok in was br swat which i still went less than 1 kd (started like 1 and 11 but started camping blue base ending 11 and 15 or so). I know the red base corner spot where a sniper is usually the go to for most teams to control. I just can never seem to get them out of there and they wreck all game long. I can’t ever hold that spot either, but I know that’s because my skill is terrible (especially with the sniper for some reason) and I can’t hold it if it gets rushed by an enemy from each side. I’m sure I just need to “get gud”, but if there’s any little tricks or secret flanking tactics I’d appreciate the info.

It just depends on the team. This map is hard especially if the enemy team has a good sniper. This map is 50/50 for me. What I always say do is to wait at the over-shields. The enemy team will surely come out eventually, if you stop rushing them.

Blue does get access to Carbine a little bit away from the Rockets, which can be helpful trying to push the top structure.

If you can’t snipe then don’t. Just let your teammates take it, or failing that just grab it and keep it holstered. The Lightrifle is going to be a much easier alternative.

If you happen to be the unlucky team that’s not in lightrifle spawn, camp over shield like Techarch mentioned. Make sure your whole team is on board. have one sit in carbine stairs looking towards rocket spawn and have one person on the other carbine spawn overlooking sniper. The other two can watch mid entry and grab over shield. theyll have to come out and when they do; theyll get called out, and the other two can help assist. once you wipe them out you can get in lightrifle tower or hold OS and have upper carbine spawn get the rockets and the other gets the sniper. A little teamwork can shut down this map pretty quick. I kind of like holding OS instead because you have more room and you dont have to worry about nades bouncing all around.

Intelligence test! If the enemy team is fortified up in the high point with a sniper and rockets, do you:
a) Charge blindly over and over into the high point and die a glorious death over and over again?
b) Play smart, use the map and wait for them to get bored and come to you, then kill them and -Yoink!- while laughing maniacally?
