Recently, ive been getting awful lag, to the point where the game is unplayable. Its just general stuttering, teleporting and getting shot from round corners. This is incredibly frustrating when trying to play as i get killed because of pure BS. My download speed is avg 15mbps and upload speed is 0.7mbps. I know its not fast compared to todays standards but usually it runs the game fine. Im getting between 30 and 50ms latency in game until it spikes up to around 150 and I start getting packet loss. What confuses me is that for the past 3 or so weeks its been fine up until now. Is this some sort of server issue? Is anyone else experiencing this? Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve experienced similar hiccups myself. With BTB machmaking being an issue currently I would safely bet on patch in the update later today.

I really hope that they can fix it later. Yesterday 3 from 6 quickgame matches were unplayable due to mentioned reasons with stuttering and teleporting.
In my opinion, servers have gotten worse since launch.
It was rare that I would get shot through walls and around corners before, but since campaign launch it has been TERRIBLE, the amount of desync and server issues is completely unacceptable at the moment. Just tested my xbox network speeds and I am getting 49mbps download and 18.5 mbps upload, 0% packet loss and 22 latency, yet in game it is borderline unplayable.
On my screen, I am shooting enemies and hitmarkers are showing that I am hitting them, yet I get no assists.
Same with being shot around corners, through walls, etc… the game says it is 22-25ms, yet it feels like 250-500ms.
I am starting to think that they are being as cheap as they can with the servers, trying to get away with as little bandwidth usage as possible and are just waiting to see what a stable playerbase number looks like before spending $$$ on the servers.

I just sniped a guy twice and back smacked him twice, he lived, then a minute later, I got an assist. 10/10 netcode 343. 60 ms ping in the match is not even bad enough to cause severe desync like that.

Is this still going on for you guys? my MP play is getting worse day by day, due to lagspikes and getteing shoot by and other player from an unseen POS.
Yes. My multiplayer performance has been extremely poor over the last week, to the point where I’m not able to play the game.
I’ve been getting all of the above + nonstop crashing.
Today I am really struggling to be bothered playing. The lag in my matches is so obvious and infuriating. Is the population already at that point? Or is the game broken? Or both?
Doomforce this has been my experience since campaign launched also. All of my friends have quit playing on all of my accoumts. They stuck it out longer than BF2024 because we all played Halo CE in our early 20’s. We played all the Halo games together. On a side note maybe it is just God telling us all to not worry about these first world inconveniences. My friends kept saying i was was lagging. I would send pictures of 1400mbs DL, 40mbs UL, 40-50 latency, and no packet loss with my in game ping, if it is accurate, 15 to 20 ping. I have even seen very odd things in Bot bootcamp. I have multiple back smacks not register., rockets to the chest kill me and not them, Stuck people in the head and they 4 shot me with the BR and they don’t die. My friends also have clips of me hit guys woth the hammer twice…and i get beat down. I have hit guys with a fusion coil on top the head and my friends just shake there head. At the end of the day does it really matter… No. It is just a game. I do hope they fix the technical problems first then add content. That basic mechanics are good. The map design is good. It is fun to play. There could be some weapon tuning. I am a PC and console player and one thing they should done was design it from the bottom up as a console game.
