Okay, so I’ve only recently discovered this bug a few days ago. When I’m at the main menu and select Options & Career, if I select Player ID the menu vanishes and all you can see is the background for several minutes, and sometimes it takes longer. I clocked in the longest one at 39m14s.
However, just recently, as I was waiting for the Player ID menu to pop up, the game crashes and I was given a corrupt data notification, and was asked to uninstall everything. So I did, reinstalled the game, I still have all my progress, and I haven’t seen it since. But the Player ID screen still takes an eternity to show up.
My advise would be to just dashboard, quit the game and start it up again. Chances are the next time you load the menu up it will appear immediately. This is what I do.

I think it works differently for everybody. I’ve tried this method and still haven’t gotten any results. Sometimes the game runs faster and a little smoother if I do so, but I still can’t access the Player ID screen. I’ve also tried this when the overall progress displays as 0%. Again, no results.

Not right away, and by right away I mean at least over half an hour later. If I AFK on the main screen, it’ll eventually show up. I clocked in the longest wait time of 39m14s. The other night it was half that time. It’s completely random.

Oh wow. Ok so when you load up the game, just let it stay on the start up screen. Maybe after 5 minutes, press the right guide button. Hopefully enough time would have passed for the game to load up properly. Then check your ID area. Hopefully it loads. if it takes over 30 mins again then something is not quite right.
I’ll give it a go. I’ve tried virtually every method to try and speed it up. I honestly think it’s a UI bug that only affects certain versions of consoles, updated or not.
