I don’t have friends that are in to Halo (saddest thing ever I know) so I REALLY need help coming up with map ideas. Yeah that’s all I’m just aspiring to become a community Forger but idk what to do.

I’ll take any suggestion please. Whether it be for Machinima, Gameplay, Race, big, small, Scary stuff, i don’t care I just wanna make something awesome.

If you have any other game that you really like to play, how about making a map that you really like from one of those?

How about a map of 3 or 4 teams that all have different attributes given to each team: Stealth, Power, Speed, shortcut access.

With the strategic use of invisible blockers this can be made possible.

  • You have a board game that you like? Make it. Invisible blockers and scripts will help a lot. - You have a map/place you like in any other game? Remake it. - Space. The gravity modifiers make space maps insanely realistic/fun. - You like a TV show? Remake something from that. - Like big wide-open maps? Make something like that for whatever gamemode. - In any map you make be sure to add easter eggs/things that are just for fun. Need to go really high? Springboard from Sonic. Need a way to teleport, but teleporters are lame? Warp pipes from Mario. Want to escape really quick? Have an invisible button to drop a wall. - Aesthetics, aesthetics, aesthetics. They are very important, just remember that functionality is even more important. - Don’t make everything yourself. Prefabs are wonderful things. - Movement options. The springboard and warp pipes from #6 are good. Ziplines, too. Want ziplines, but they don’t work where you’re placing them? Grind rails from Sonic. Don’t be afraid to copy stuff from other franchises–they probably don’t care. - Just be yourself.
