So a couple days ago, I was polishing up one of my forge maps on Erosion that I’ve been working on for a couple weeks. I came to a point where I was satisfied with it and called it finished. Then immediately, I played a match with one of my friends, saved it to the theater, and uploaded the 100% finished map variant to my file share. I haven’t got on my Xbox since then. Tonight I got on to play a few War Games matches, and went to check on my aesthetically pleasing forge map, and guess what? All of the work I did on it a couple days ago is gone. It’s back to the way it was prior.
After this shocking discovery, I went in and out of forge, custom games, downloaded the map off of my file share, and it still appears in its unfinished state. I went into Theater mode to check on the match I had with my friend, and the map looked completely fine(finished like it should be). After that, I checked on my other forge maps on Impact and Ravine, which I made only minor edits to on the same day, and nothing was lost.
Has anyone else experienced this or something similar? Is there any help I can get? I’ll refinish my map if I have to, but if something like this happens again, I am not going to be very happy…
