Once you reach the diamond tier, you do not play ranks lower than diamond or at least very very rarely. This is a severe flaw to the rank system because it is not a fair accurate representation of matching opponents because now everyone I play is now better than me, or has a better rank. That’s unacceptable to me.
That’s crap. I just played a whole heap of games against Diamonds and I’m gold.
You would prefer it the other way? You dominating on lower ranked players? Make it fun for you but miserable for others?

Zero. But you have in the last 10 played against 2 onyx players twice, you were the highest ranked on your team both times, and your team won both.
There were two games where you faced one onyx player and you got smacked… but you had an onyx ranked teammate.

Ah you’re right. I actually thought Platinum was a rank above Diamond. Wow I’m closer to an Onyx than I thought. Well that’s not as bad as I thought then, however, it would be nice if it matches me up against a couple Onyx’s to have a couple on my team more often too.

Yes and no. I was upset that the games weren’t evenly balanced, whether playing people lower or higher than me. However, I didn’t realize Platinum was a lower rank than me so that is more understandable now.

Looks like it tried. The system has to pull from what’s available and probably a billion other factors and do it all through a worldwide search in 30 seconds… its actually pretty impressive
