How come nobody uses mics anymore? Why won’t people tell me how terrible at the game I am? Why is nobody trying to make the beast with two back with my mother? Why is nobody informing me that I am attracted to men? Why is nobody paying terrible pop music so loud it’s all I hear? Why doesn’t it sound like I am in somebody’s laundry room?

In all seriousness you should play COD if you want the classic 2010 video game experience. Somehow they’re still cussing each other out every single match lol
I actually hear a lot of people in this beta, in fact it’s impossible to go to the scoreboard and mute the noisiest atm.
MCC was great on PC with this, until 343 decided to alter it to OFF/TEAM instead of EVERYONE by default. Most people weren’t aware of the change and never changed it back.
It’s a community thing. On Xbox most people are in a party and on pc in discord, etc. Back in the day you had to use gamechat

No need to be insecure about these things! They are still very true and UR MOM is so fat you can’t even get around her with 5 grapple charges. Even when I tried to use the repulsor on her I was bounced back all the way to CE.

this is the serious answer though. A lot of people are enjoying the flight with friends and a party chat instead of the game chat to not annoy people with random chatter in sometimes other languages.
I make it a point to always use a mic with this flight. It takes an effort to start the trend at least a little more again.
I don’t use my mic because I’m either chatting in Discord, or don’t want to deal with people yelling at me for one reason or another.
I’m getting too old for that sort of garbage.
I don’t use a Mic because I just want to play and not do any talking. I mute mlg wannabes that talk to much trying to tell team members what to do and how to play. LoL.

I went almost an entire game AFK trying to figure out how to mute a player.
Sadly it was heavy mouth breathing and keyboard tapping. I quite enjoy hearing sweaty try hards getting mad, haha.
I usually use a mic for competitive and callout even if noone on responds.
Don’t use in social as people usually wind me up with their attitudes and comments. At least in ranked it is mostly just teammates working together.

The MCC used be be really good with this but those lovely people are still out there you just have to find them
