I was playing COOP live - and the screen all of a sudden just squashed and then went black and my TV said mode not supported.
So i ejected the game and rebooted - only to be greeted with the fact that the game refuses to display anything on my TV at all now. I cannot play HALO CEA. I tried clearing my system cache, but the weird thing is - I then put in HALO CEA and it doesnt even ask for an update??? Put in Gears 3 - asks for update and game plays fine.
It cant be my TV - I have played xbox on this for 4+ years and every other game works fine, dash works fine, 1080p videos work fine, its all fine BUT Halo CEA.
I am part of the new dash preview program as per Major Nelson. Any help would be appreciated!
Sounds silly but have you or could you have by accident altered the 3D settings which are availble for Halo CEA?
I would disconnect Kinect for a moment too, It looks to me like it is a TV error as thats your TV showing that error message rather than the game, But like you said all other games seem to work just fine,
So like i just said i’d remove the Kinect, And clear system cache (again) and see if that has any results.
