September, The Month Of Mythics...

Okay so, ever since month of mythics started, everybody’s been complaining non stop. Look, i get it dude, you work so hard to get where you are, you grind so much to get those REQ’s and then this whole month of mythics starts where you can just buy them, OR spend those hard earned REQ’s on the pack. I just think this whole outcry has gotten out of hand, so many posts full of hate for them. If you don’t want the pack then don’t get it, simple as that man. I mean i think it gives players a chance to use those REQ’s that you normally can’t use due to them being so rare and only having one of them. Remember the Memories of Reach pack? That cost $14.99 (i forget how many REQ’s it cost) but people still bought that, just for armour THAT YOU CAN UNLOCK. You can unlock these weapons too, so what if people decide to buy them.

This is why all these new things in games today are so dumb. “I wanna feel rewarded with my pretty armor” " I wanna grind for my pink visor!". I remember when skill was what people grinder for not toy weapons that barley do anything different. Then people get salty when they spend more or reqs only to be spawn killed at base by load out weapons becuase they can not shoot in the first place.

I think you’re misunderstanding the reason why people are throwing fits. It’s not because “I’m jealous they bought it when I grinded for it”, it’s more like, “now I have to get blown up by Spnkr primes around every corner because it’s pay-to-have an advantage”.

I’m not saying I necessarily agree with the outcry. You can argue Halo 5 has been pay-to-have an advantage all along, since gold packs have always been immediately available for real money. And maybe those money-paying mythic-wielders will end up on your team. Microtransactions are annoying but either way, I just stick to firefight, myself…

I suppose that is true, maybe it’s just me but i didnt encounter many Prophets Banes, or Tartrus Gravels when i was playing Warzone, mainly just the usual sniper/vehicle REQ’s. A few times i did but it didn’t bother me none.

Even with the Mythic packs, WZ is as Pay-to-win as it always has been. (Which is to say, slightly, but not annoyingly so.)

I could have taken those $10 or 80,000 RP and bought some other packs and get an assortment of deadly things I could use to kill.

See this right here is my biggest issue with Month of Mythic. The first one can get you 3 gold packs, the second one can get you 8 gold packs. Bloating up the req point price compared to the money price is such a sneaky tactic to make people want to spend money

I think it is because to a certain extent, the majority of people have already got the certs for all the weapons. Therefore, when they have an offer like this, the majority of people seeing it will have already got it, and think, “What is the point in this? For £8, what am I actually getting?” That is why people are complaining. It also suggests that despite the majority of people having the cert, 343 are still willing to give away these packs.

I’ll definitely buy Hannibal tanks or manthys. Having one of those on the field it’s like: “OHKO” to any enemy in firefight and war zone
