You are now exactly a year old. Still standing strong as ever even as others predicted you to fall. With Combat Evolved Anniversary to add a higher variety of options for us to choose from you, we feel spoilt as a community of gamers. Though others may judge you for your differences to the others, you regardless sit in a prime place in the Halo Community. You are perhaps the most successful and memorable Spin-Off Halo Title from the Master Chief Trilogy.
We met John’s younger and more fragile cousin by the name of Noble 6 and it was thanks to you that we could change his history and appearance. You led us through his vision of the Fall of Reach, one of the most memorable events in the Halo Timeline. Though we could not see through the eyes of the Chief, you had helped see through 6’s eyes. Those last few moments to embrace Reach gave us an impact as to life before the Ringworld and the expected destruction of the Covenant Military.
Reach’s fall may have been the end of his journey but it was certainly not the end of ours. You gave us not only Invasion and the battlegrounds before Reach fell but you gave us Forge World. A massive Sandbox on Halo (Installation 04) in which we could become the producers and not the consumers. We took this mantle and converted a simple FPS into a Racing Game, A Movie Maker, A Portfolio for our Photos, A Zombie’s Game, A Football Game and even a Pinball Game. We crave for all these things but we know not anything since we already have those.
Your changes from the Master Chief Trilogy were both bold and brave. You removed some culturally favourite elements whilst adding some new elements that may appear foreign. You did this for consideration of those that didn’t want to play the same game mechanics 5 Times. You cared for the audiences in general and still do to this day. With Bungie creating you to be one of the best and 343 Industries to ensure this happens and is known, you will forever be a game that will never fall.
Your planet may have fallen but you will certainly not. Happy Anniversary Reach. Stay Strong till the end of your days and ours…
It’s been a great year playing Reach. I knew from the first moment I played the game that I was going to play the c r a p out of this game and so far, I feel comfortable saying I have.
I still have a long way to go to finish off a bunch of commendations, and I’m excited for CEA to be released.

Has it really been a year already? Wow well its been a great year. I’ve been playing pretty much every halo I have on me. even odst guess I can’t put the silenced weapons down. Cant wait for anniversary and halo 4. I’ll be playing team biggy smalls on reach/halo 3. Heres to another year of halo. drinks dish washing liquid

Ditto! I play this game more than any other that I’ve bought in the last year. Probably almost as much as I’ve played H:CE and H2

It felt like a day ago when I first that huge, juicy, black box in my hands. That feeling that I had when I cut you open, lifting out the box inside the box of which you’re inside. The smell that came out of you was priceless. That feeling I had when I first touched you, I’ll never forget it.
