Hello, not sure if this is a good place to post this. For the first Infinite Flight I was selected for PC, despite having preferences for both PC and Xbox Series X. For the Sept Flight I won’t have my PC available to me, but I will have my Xbox Series X as an option.
Should I update my Flight Preferences to not have PC until after the Sept Flight so that it prioritizes Xbox Series X?
Will it matter for this Flight or are all Insiders invited on any platform?
I’d change it just to be sure, and on that note I’m going to change mine to take off the Xbox availability.
Was a pain in the butt setting that up, had to unbox it set up all the cables, update the console, got the black screen of death, had to factory reset and then to download 50gb flight it took all day on a 500mb/s internet because the Xbox One can’t utilise it properly.
I’m only offering my services on the Series X for the next flight ha.
Haha jeez, does sound like a pain. But that’s why we’re doing this! Hope they can weed out these issues.
Thanks for the reply. I guess you’re right, no harm in updating it. However, I don’t want to be pushed to “the end of the list” and miss the Flight altogether. Hopefully someone at 343 will check this and respond.

I recommend changing your Insider preferences to match whatever your current hardware set up is.
Have your preferences match your available platform.
