Seperate team Traits?

OK in halo reach firefight versus had the ability to change the elites and the Spartans settings separately allowing us to make the elites purple, and give them better shields like normal elites. and at the same time make the Spartans green with cloaking liek a normal spartan 3

I think we need to bring this back but instead of elites and Spartans different teams

Like say we have team doubles
Red team would have jet pack
blue thrusters
green hologram
and orange with cloaking

or CTF
Red team would have a better speed while blue would have better jump

These are just examples and would take customs to the next level.

do you support. Just imagine the possibilities.

This is something I absolutely want in Halo 4. Personally I’d like to take it a step further where you can assign different objectives/scoring for the teams. Like 1 teams job is to kill the opposing team and gets points per kill, while the other team’s objective is to stay alive and scores points for each second they’re alive.

I’d also adore a per class editor so each load about has different base traits but that’s a different story

I want to be able to make defensive positions like forts with machine turrets, mounted missile pods, and gauss turrets, plasma turrets, and wraith mortars. (All are destructible). But people on the offensive start with heavy vehicles and powerful weaponry. There should be impenetrable bases and the only way in is to blow your way through some doors (destructible gates and doorways, however they can take a lot of punishment). After a gate breaks then the next phase can begin. They enter a field/courtyard and have to cross in vehicles to get to the base, however the defense also has vehicles and long range weapons. On the final push the offense would enter the base and try to plant a bomb/steal intel/ etc. The defensive team could start deploying with camo, jackal shields, shotguns, energy swords (Ambush CQ weapons) and the offensive team still can use vehicles outside and CQ Weapons inside.

Sounds like invasion

Im glad you enjoyed and I enjoy your ideas

Has this been confirmed or denied?

Imagine hide 'n seek zombies with the new elite design chasing spartans around.

> OK this ideas mainly because of reachs firefight customs. In it we could customize both elites and Spartans separately. The Ability to do this was great for setting up versus matches with friends and made it so we could make the Spartans defensive the elites offensive or reverse or keep them equal. Its a nice ability and its been bugging me. Why was it never in invasion, or team game types in general.

At first I thought this is what you meant, but I looked at it again and I guess not. What I thought was if you could customize the appearance of each team completely in customs. For example, if I wanted to make an Alien game type I could make a jet black elite, or if I wanted to do a Star Wars game type, I could do white EOD with black visor, stuff like that.

Well with team separate settings you could make jet black spartans vs blood red spartans and give each team different things.

Perhaps we could call it “Team traits”.

When accessed in the gametype settings, it brings up a list of teams depending on the gametype (colour/human or infected etc.), and each one has a sub-menu showing a list of customizable player traits.

Exactly
and you would have the ability to turn it on and off making it so it would switch from player settings to team strict settings

What if the Team trait options were available in the new Player Trait Zones they showed on Forge mode as well?
Oh man… think of the possibilities. XD

wow your right
that would be weird?
