Seperate cosmedics from weapons and vehicles

Dear 343,
I would like to see armor, skins, etc. have their own req packs from weapon and vehicle packs. it would give the player a chance for that armor piece or stance they’ve been grinding for. Thank you for reading this message and have a nice day.
Sincerely, Spartan Centurion 0mega

It’s something that have been brought on multiple occasions on the forum. Basically in an ideal world to keep REQ, because let’s agree I think REQs are here to stay, it would be to get all cosmetics (armor, helmet, skins, etc) unlock with points directly and not RNG based. Similar to what Reach had, you would buy for 2000 RP the Recruit Armor and then for 750 RP you can get the Recruit Charred skin, which would fall under Recruit (a tree division whereas you get Armor: Recruit > Recruit Charred, recruit whatever, etc). Not only it would be totally revamped, but I think some armor should be lock under a certain level i.e. you can’t buy Mark VI until you reach SR 50, Copperhead SR 75 and on, and on.

Then speaking of the REQs for Warzone. they would remain untouch. They’ll completely be RNG based and be unlocked in the same process as they are unlock now. That would separate Arena player with Warzone. As they don’t care about the weapon they may just buy the cosmetics they want.

On my second accounts, I just want armor and weapon skins. Nothing else

You must be new to the forums. 343 does not really listen to us. Except only if someone says servers are down or something urgent like that.

It would make sense to have separate packs that give better odds for cosmetics or certification. But of course, making sense isn’t a part of 343i’s agenda, especially since this would prevent them from making as much money.

Cosmetics.

What you want is pretty unlikely. The req system and similar systems of micro transactions are designed to make people want packs. Having all the items in one pool makes it harder to get that one item you actually want, which in practice makes it more likely that some people will actually pay money to get a pack in the hope they’ll get that armor or weapon they desire. It’s counterintuitive for 343 to separate the items.

HYv47 Yeah, I’m kind of new “around 'ese parts”. I just came from Bungo’s forum where you can send feedback.

If only there were more people like you with these ideas. Lol.
To bring back Reach’s system would be amazing, but sadly, I think Halo 5 has gone so far with its REQ system, its pretty much here to stay.

Also you quote people when you want to respond to them. But I also say welcome to Waypoint. If you are looking to join a spartan company hit me up. Just another note, you cant make actual links until you are a marine.

Base armor and reqs should be earned. However, I wouldn’t mind variants being in packs after the base is unlocked. That’s my ideal for Halo 6.

Right now, I would like warzone items and cosmetics split, maybe a gold pack quality of whatever it is for 15,000 RP.
