Separation between Ranked and Social KDA?

Is there any possibility of getting Ranked KDA separated from Social KDA? It’s really unfair to those who only tend to play Ranked Vs. Social.

I’d like this as well.

It doesn’t seem like it is something that will be added to halo 5. The social playlists weren’t part of the initial plans and were added to make us happy. It may be possible for Halo 6 though. I don’t see much of a point to it though. It may take a few of the players who go into social modes to pad their stats out of the game, but there will still be plenty who just enjoy acting like that or are going for clips etc. Plus it would lead to a lot of arguments about “Which is better my 2.0 Ranked K/D or my 4.0 Social K/D?” and a resurrected breed of stat flaming. I don’t see much of a point in stats at all, but to each his own.

It would certainly be appreciated. There would be a decrease in tryhards that’s for sure (you can’t get rid of all of them sadly).

I’ve had a constant 2.8 KD as I only play Ranked. However, my buddy (Who is silver/gold in ranked) has a 7.0kd because he only plays Social. Just to try and see how easy it was to get your kd up in social I played a few games of Griffball, going 30/2 almost every game I got my KD up to like 3.2 lol. As of now, it’s “My KD is higher, so obviously I’m better” vs. the “Which is better my 2.0 Ranked K/D or my 4.0 Social K/D?” I’d personally would like the ability to know what someone’s KD is in Ranked and Social, without having to think “Is this guy actually 7.0 or is it because he only plays social”

Honestly, separate stats wouldn’t stop me from playing social as a tryhard. I pubstomp social to complete my remaining commendations. If they locked commendation progression in social, I think a lot more of the tryhards would stop playing it. I know I would.

I’d personally prefer if social playlists had no stat tracking of K/D or W/L at all. What happens in a match, stays in a match.

To me it makes sense to use your last so many games for what your kd is for I worked out that at one point to get my kd to 2.0 I would need to perform an average of 3.0

ranked does show kd kind of like that for each season but it’s not always obvious to find.

Social will never hold more value than ranked. Ranked is intended (supposed) to match you vs others your skill level, social doesn’t. I’ll take a 2.0 ranked k/d over a 10.0 social k/d every time, and fyi both are inflated stats cuz in a perfect world your k/d “should” be around a .075-1.5 range which means your matching people close to your skill level.

In my opinion if you’re playing people at or around your skill level your K/D should be around 1, If I’m concerned about someone’s stats I’d be more concerned about their W/L.
