One thing I loved about Reach was the armour customisation available in multiplayer. It was great. I unlocked the mechanical arm, I had no should armour on that arm, I had the black visor, and a few other bits. I had my armour the way I wanted with the bits I like. I did like the customisation in Halo 4, though not as much. It meant I could choose shoulders, chest, and a helmet. It was limited but better than Halo 5.
I’m looking through all the armour options and I’m not finding anything I actually like. All the sets are along the lines of “I like this one bit but not the rest”. I love the Interceptor chest but can’t stand the shoulders, for example.
Can we have all the armour pieces as a separate options?
This has come up a million times in the forum. The simple answer is no. I share your opinions on this matter but this system has grown on me. It really doesn’t matter much anymore.
It matters to me. I want an armour set I like, not one that I’m kinda vaguely satisfied with because I dislike the other options more. 
Unfortunately, they won’t be no more customization for this Game,
but one may hope it’ll return in the next Halo Game.
Halo 6 better have crazy good customization options other wise I will be disappointed yet again…
I want this too, but the issue would be way too many REQs to unlock. It already would cost about $998.80 to buy everything. Now imagine if the the amount of armor customization multiplied by four. Then imagine how high that price would be.
Reach was a bit overkill for customization, I’d prefer halo 3 customization. Its more simple that way.

I’ve not spent anything on REQs, so it’d still be free? They could still give out the sets as one item, like “you’ve just been rewarded the Freelancer armour set!” or something. That way those that want the matching set have it and those that don’t have an extra option for each part.

I’d be happier with that than what we’ve got! I can’t remember which set it is but I like the body and legs but I can’t stand the shoulders. The shoulders are like huge blobs stuck on the elbows.
