So, in numerous threads I have seen many posts of people dissing the sentinel beam because of it’s terrible player damage, but it is not designed to kill players. It is purely anti-vehicle.
What are everyone’s thoughts?
Ya, it is OP against vehicles!
agreed that was its function in halo 3 at least for me XD

So it is useful after all… i thought it was a POS
I found that the Safeguard Sentinel Beam is harder to receive in packs than a Spartan Laser, which in fact have the same rarity. If you want to effectively destroy vehicles, a laser would be a far better option.

True, but the sentinel beam does instant damage, whereas the spartan laser has to charge significantly before firing, giving vehicles a chance to escape without taking damage.
I’ll be entirely honest, I have never attempted to use the Sentinel beam against a vehicle, so I’m intrigued. Guess I know what I’m gonna try next time I jump into Warzone.

It can do some nice damage to wasps, if for some reason you’re low on splasers.
The Sentinel Beam is DEVASTATING against aerial vehicles as long as you maintain your aim on their weak spot.
Phaetons go down like flies in Firefight!

I’m really not sure, but it could be why it is harder to obtain than an laser or spnkr rocket launcher anyways.
As far as I know, the vehicles being so fragile in this game is why it turned out to be fairly decent.

Same here. It’s absolute trash in super fiesta
It works great on players, I don’t know what you’re talking about. You just can’t take the reticle off of them.
I was not aware it damaged vehicles…

Was it actually good against vehicles in that? Hm, I should try using it on a vehicle in both games next time I play them.
The Sentinel Beam is great against base vehicles, but req vehicles are harder to destroy.
Sentenal beam is to op in doubles and against wasps. Plz remove it for doubles 343.
Its an amazing way to get rid of grunt goblins.
Oh man, I better start using it more!
