Hello,

I am having trouble finding information about Anders leader power Sentinel Beacon. What is the current spawn duration for Sentinels created by Kodiaks and Siege Turrets?

5 Seconds?
I thought at release it was 2.8 then got nerfed to 1.4 or something a couple months later. Hard to believe it got longer.

Is the duration long enough for the Kodiac to fire again before the field of vison gained by the Sentinel goes away? What is the rate of fire for a Kodiac?

No, it was specifically changed to be less than the fire rate of the kodiak to stop it maintaining los. I can’t remember which patch it was though. It doesn’t enable you to park a kodiak, get it to fire and keep firing with only the los from the sentinel.

They removed the ability for the sentinel spawn to provide LoS and the duration was increased since they can no longer spot there own targets.

They actually buff the fire rate of artillery turrets
in a older patch and just simply removed the ability for the sentinel spawn to provide LoS.

Let me see if I understand all of this:

  1. Rate of fire of Artillery Turrets was increased, meaning less time between shots.
  2. The spawn duration of Sentinels created from Sentinel Beacon was increased, meaning Sentinels stay in play longer.
  3. Sentinels no longer provide LOS, so player must use another unit or power to maintain volley.
