Everytime I play a multiplayer game, no mater what playlist I play, I always get sent back to the main multiplayer lobby instead of staying with the players I was matched with and continuing onto the next game. Is this typical for MCC and is there any known way to fix this? I don’t remember having this issue with any other Halo titles.
That’s on purpose and for everyone. If I recall correctly, it was changed in an update allegedly to fix another issue.
This issue is totally balls!
Needs to be fixed. You shouldn’t have to search for a new game all over again, it’s 2015 for god sakes!

And it still happing after the new patch
