Sensitivity

I feel as if having a next gen console we need to fix an issue a lot of people have with sensitivity. If you play a game like battlefield where you can go from 1-100 or something like that we need to do this with more fps games. At least add a .5 system like .5 1.0 1.5 2.0 2.5… etc. I know a lot of people including myself who find 2 sensitivities they like but it’s just too fast or too slow by a tiny bit. Having an in between sensitivity system from the whole numbers would allow everyone to feel more comfortable with their aiming and you could find that sweet spot for your aiming needs.

I think that is a great idea. Having a wider range to choose from would be very nice.

Right? I feel like more diversity could really help some people out, especially since they implemented a new aiming system and for the new people who arn’t used to aiming on games like this yet.

No one else has thoughts on this?

yeah fair point op

It seems like it’s been changed a little or I’m just getting used to the aim a little more but still the different sensitivities would become a great help to everyone.

Yeah the aiming has changed ever so slightly and some are complaining about it. To be honest I’m always up for a new challenge, so there’s no problem for me. Oh and I like this idea. Even making it 1-20 would give more fine tuning options.

The sensitivity doesnt vary much.

With the default setting of 3 it moves too fast looking up and down. And setting it all the way down to 1 doesn’t seem to make any difference! A great idea…but with a wider range to select from for both sticks in each direction!

I don’t think anything needs to change. If you want more variation, but the Elite controller and toy with it.

I shouldn’t have to buy a separate controller for something they can easily fix. The idea of having a vertical and horizontal sensitivity setting is great especially with a wider range.

I’ve seen a few other people talk about sensitivity and just waiting for 343 to actually implement something of this sort.

I’d like it to be more sensitive as well. Or at least we should be able to set it higher if we want.

Just grind it out in a sens you’re comfortable with you’ll eventually get used to it

That would take a lot of work from 343i but its a good idea

How about a universal sensitivity setting in the controller accessories app?
That way any fps game u play would all be near the same speed without changing anything in each game.
Can only dream

I remember 343 saying that the December update has a fix to choose a fractional sensitivity (e.g. 3.5) and separately tune horizontal and vertical sensitivity. Whether they deliver or not is another story.

This would be awesome and I’m hoping they do, I keep hearing about it all the time for other people wanting something like this to happen so I’d only imagine they’d have to do it. As much as I’m disappointed in 343 with a lot of stuff, they really do listen to fans and fix the games to be what they’re supposed to it just takes them a few months instead of getting it right at release.
