Sensitivity Issue

Before I went on vacation in May I had no problems with sensitivity. I played on a 28" and used 5 horizontal, 5 vertical, 5 accel. Then switched to a 55" and went 4 horizontal, 3 vertical, 1 accel. Then on vacation I played on a 32" I believe and didn’t have to change my sens at all. After returning to my 55" I’ve had trouble finding a sensitivity. Everything is either too fast or too slow and there is no perfect fit. So, I decided to play on an account I created for a family member and played at 4 horizontal, 3 vertical, 1 accel, and had no problems. It even feels way slower than playing with the exact same settings on my main account. I have no idea whats going on I checked everything.

Could it have to do with your TV’s input lag? It’s possible switching between the two TVs has caused your inputs and judgment to become accustomed to the 32” TV’s characteristics.

Switching screen sizes like that can really throw you off. Especially from a smaller to larger screen and what not. I always try to stay on the same screen size now or as close as I can. I use a 22" gaming monitor at home and if I go some where else to game (work/vacation whatever) I take a 19" tv with me.

The thing is I have never bee thrown off before. Like I said before I had no problems using different screens and returning. In fact I used a 24" for over a week and returned to the 55" with no problem last year.

It could just be the size difference. I know I used to play on a 22"-24" tube tv for swat back in the Reach days, and when I finally got a 42" my aim was all over the place.

The problem is fixed now. I play 2.5 vert, 1.5 horiz, 1 accel. It’s not 100% comfortable but I’m still competing at a high level.
