Sensitivity is too damn slow

Returning fan (after skipping Halo 5) to try the most recent flight test this weekend. No crazy about the player out lines, over powered pistol, abused slide cancelling, cluttered HUD, the music (while good) didn’t sound Halo-esque (I believe Bungies composer is looking for work).
All this i can forgive cause it was still quite enjoyable.
Hower, even at max, the sensitivity is half the speed I play Apex, Siege, Insurgency and Overwatch. Please increase it

Halo is a console game :triumph:

Chances are you needed to adjust more of your settings. The default setting for aim acceleration is low and you would probably get a lot out of just bumping it up to 5.

Also the deadzones by default are really messed up it’s set up so that you have to push the stick significantly just to get a response, and the distance between min and max is short so there isn’t a lot of variance between the speed of a minimum and maximum input.

You want the inner and outer deadzones both set to something really low, like 3, and then the range of speed in between the min and max inputs to be something high, like 14/15.

And for zooming, definitely increase the sensitivity modifiers because again, it’s way slower than it should be. You have to do that individually for every zoom level. I found 1.1 felt perfectly natural but you might want it even higher.

We as players shouldn’t have to correct the aiming and sensitivity settings for a game from a series that already had perfect aiming and movement for what it was. On MCC i just need to max out the sensitivity and acceleration and it feels great. Doing that in Infinite (even with tweaking deadzones) made for wonky movement and aiming that barely kept up with the pace of gameplay.
