Sensitivity Inconsistencies

I have Verizon FioS Quantum and my internet is 90 up and 90 down. I live in Texas. Most of my games my sensitivity will just go rampant and either be heavy (slow) or just over sensitive and faster than what it normally is. Almost all my friends experience this problem some more than others. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. I’m just confused how a game can go into launch and people don’t know about this. From what it seems the trashier the connection is to the server the worst your sensitivity will be whether it is heavy or super sensitive. I’ve found slight fixes to this issue such as spamming the start button but that doesn’t permanently fix it. So maybe 343 will do an update and take this into consideration. Also before anyone asks I’ve tried changing accel, deadzones etc…Nothing works.

Same problem here :frowning:

The MOST frustrating problem ever in a video game. Unbelievable how it has been in the game for so long. I hoped they’d fix it cause pro’s might whine or something. It has been so long I had to finally address it myself.

Your sensitivity is based on your connection to the server. If you have a bad connection then your going to have to play on a lower sensitivity because your aim assist won’t be working correctly. If your on a really good server then your aim assist and the enemy hit box is working correctly and you will be able to play on higher sensitivity. I literally switch my sensitivity almost every other game based on my connection to the server. It’s just bad servers makes your aim feel clunky and I can’t stand it. 343 has literally done nothing to fix their servers and they only seem to be getting worse. This is probably one of the worst months of halo servers I have ever experienced. Tons of lag and rubber banding all over. Making an already frustrating game more frustrating is what’s going to eventually kill their game. Nobody is going to want to play it. They have other less frustrating easy fun games out like battlefield 1 and titanfall 2. If 343 doesn’t turn their game around it’s just going to die. It feels like they already lost almost half their player base since the release of the new call of duty.

First Halo in history where sensitivity has been impacted by connection which is ridiculous. Living on the west coast its even worse with all the pros living on the east probably where their servers are based since they won’t tell anyone. I can’t even play this game anymore cause of the issue and I doubt they will address it unless someone known speaks on it.

Im on the east coast and have never noticed any sort of lag changes so you may be onto something, I’ll start paying more attention though, I was not aware this was even a thing.
