So my settings through out my halo 5 time was at 8 for sensitivity and 3 acceleration 2% dead zones outer n inner. I decided to try 3 sensitivity 5 acceleration and I do feel like my aim has gotten better against those people who jump around like monkeys or whack a mole people. Though obvious downside is super slow turning n such. So I’m just trying to find a good setting.
I think I have 4 4 2, 0% 0% (lol I don’t smoke weed). I find It good, I have played with 1 1 4 and I think it’s good for sniper but I feel slow for br and pistol. I play bumper jumper with elite controller, 2 paddles. I’m always jumping and crouching and running like crazy (I used like 150-200 speed boosts during last 4 days😂)
I use 2.5 horizontal and vertical with a look acceleration of 2. I play bumper jumper and have both dead zones set at 0. Back in the days of Reach I used to play high sensitivities (8-10), but for some reason that just seems way too fast for Halo 5.

Ya I would put it between 7-10 on any FPS shooter back in the old days so it is still bit weird playing on 3
4-4
3 horizontal
3 vertical
1 acceleration
5-3
I play on:
2 Horizontal
3 Vertical
5 Acceleration
0% deadzones, and on default button layout.
Depends on which game I play. 5.5 - 6 for infection, 1 - 5 for WZ.
I used to play really high on halo reach and 4 but halo 5 i play at 3.5
I have always played with a 1, 1, 1. Best for sniping for me

idk why but 3-5 it s the best for my hands.
6 sensitivity with 2 acceleration. 5% both deadzones. Works alright with me, id say im a decent player. According to my arena stats I have an overall arena KD of 2.4
Also I play with bumper jumper button layout
I’ve cranked my sensitivity to 10-10-5 with 0% on both deadzones. It’s a godsend for Infection but it doesn’t hurt my sniping either. Holding a 2.6 K/D ratio from it all.
Whatever the default is. I haven’t done my homework on how it affects the gameplay.
I was playing 4 sense 3 accel but lowered my accel to 2. My pistol feels a bit better but my sniping has felt off. Higher accel better for sniping???
2.3 Horizontal
3.5 Vertical
3 Accel
0% deadzones
1 Verticle
.5 Horizontal
2 Accel
0% Deadzones
The downfall is that it is too slow to turn around fast enough if I need to. If I do happen to turn around, you better not miss any shots.

I play at 4 horizontal, 2 vertical and maximal acceleration. But it’s not exactly the best setting. Many times I feel like a higher sensitivity would be helpful because when I have to push the stick further than just a little bit, I feel like my coordination is not as good as operating in the first say 20%. But with a higher sensitivity, I tend to be all over the place, especially when it get a little hectic. So, pros and cons, don’t really know what is best myself. I had a very high sensitivity when I started playing Halo and with the lower setting I’m definitely better than before, though. But that doesn’t mean I’m good with it lol.
I’m playing on a 4, with a 3 acc.
