Soo what’s up Community!
Recently I put my sensibility and 4, so much better, but I realized that there was also “Acceleration”. Okay I know what it is, I just wanted to know which number should I pick. If I have sensibility on 4, should I choose the 4 one aswell? Or it’s something irrelevant?
No, it is absolutely relevant. I had sensitivity 3 and acceleration at 3. Acceleration has to do with how quickly your turning speed reaches max when pushing the thumbstick to the max in either direction. With 3 and 3 I felt that it accelerated too fast so I adjust that value to a 2. All of a sudden three in sensitivity didn’t feel fast enough so I increased that value to 4. Now it feels perfect!
Sorry for the title, english is not my mother language!

So you’ve got 4 and 2?
I need to configure my settings but Iv reached level 83 with the default settings so I think I`m sweet
Yes. And it works like a treat for me. Whenever latency isn’t an issue at least.
Before the update, I was rocking 5 sensitivity because 3 & 4 were too slow. I liked being able to turn around faster rather than shoot long range (my aim was a little off due to the high sensitivity). But now with the acceleration update, I turned the acceleration to 5 and moved my sensitivity down to 3, not I can rock at getting those headshots and still turn around fast.
I love how much customization there is now especially with the elite controller. At first I hated my elite but just took some time to go through all the settings and getting use to the feel of it, now I don’t know how I even played decentish before.
My favorite set up is
Button layout: Fishsticks
with the paddles set up for top left: thrust bottom left: jump
top right: melee and bottom right: crouch
Sticks are set at smooth
sensitivity set at 5 and acceleration at 1 (don’t know why but it just works well for me)
dead zones at 0% obviously
and the triggers are short with those dead zones set so charging weapons still work
I also have the medium rounded sticks on don’t know what they’re called just know that they feel more comfortable.
I just know that sensitivity at 5 helps me look around faster and acceleration at 1 helps keep my reticle on target without going all wonky. I’ll experiment a bit more over time but for now this suits me well
I’m having such a hard time settling on numbers that feel consistently good to me. Was trying to adjust to 3 and 2 which I believe are beta settings but something still feels slightly off. Guess I’ll keep fiddling.
4 sensitivity and 2 acceleration seems to be a sweet spot for most people (it’s what I use). It makes it a little easier to change directions but calms down some of the small adjustments in aiming.
Also, dropping your inner deadzone to 5% helps with small adjustments if your controller is in decent condition (no drifting).
Button Layout: Bumper Jumper
Sensitivity: 10
Acceleration: 3
You’re set.
