I will never understand a kid who picks up a controller and main objective is not to win that’s why Xbox one has no decent games because they have to take care of these cry babies halo is the next ruined serious because of cry babies who don’t want to compete they just want to have fun smh …WINING IS HAVING FUN
You never played competive Pokemon right?
Compared to that,HCS is a childrens birthday party.
And whats a match worth that you won,but you dont had any fun playing it?
Nothing,its wasted time.
So relax and enjoy the game.
Your argument makes no sense what so ever why would I be playing halo if it wasent fun to me? The element of Rank and winning matches is another level of fun … now games like Mario party are fun but how long can you play Mario party if you always Lose?

Losing is an important part of it too. You can learn from your mistakes to get better. Now I’m beginning to become more confident in using the Sniper Rifle in Arena.

I see what he/she is getting at though. What used to be “do what you can to win by luck” feels more like “here is how you win, we will walk you through it every step of the way”. Because 343i wants to focus on every gamer instead of Halo fans. They are making both campaign AND multiplayer something that our hand gets held through. Other games are doing the same thing.
The problem is, instead of being able to beat the game on your own, more and more game companies are telling you how to beat it, in fear that we won’t be able to do it ourselves like we are babies or something. What used to be Spyro, Final Fantasy, Syphon Filter and early Halo type games, where the difficulty could be ramped up depending on the level you were on, we now have Call of Duty, Battlefield, and 343i Halo type games where if you aren’t doing something right, the game tells you where to go, tells you how to defeat enemies, and puts annoying tutorials on screen every five seconds. This is why we need to put manuals back in game cases.
