Unfortunately, there is an issue with the Halo Reach Firefight which means that kills in this gamemode won’t contribute to any of the challenges. If you wish to complete this challenge, you can either try any of the Halo campaigns, Halo 3: ODST Firefight or Halo 4 Spartan Ops.
However, there exist few positivs with Halo Reach Firefight Matchmaking like that Assists, Legendary Medals (Killionaire medal) and Double Kills will contribute towards the cross game matchmaking achievements for these medals.
